In todays busy world, We often don't have time to unplug our equipment, package it up, and haul it down to a shop just to wait several days for a diagnosis, during which time, not have access to your equipment. Other people are disabled or live far from a business center which makes it difficult to bring in the equipment. It was with this in mind that Generation D made the decision to be an onsite provider rather than a storefront provider. We can offer the same services, and more, and do it right in the comfort of your own home or business. Generation D also doesn't charge exorbitant onsite fees. All of our techs are well trained and have independent manufacturer certification for companies like Dell and HP.

Preventative Maintenance
In order to ensure that your machine lasts, you must maintain both the hardware and the software of your computer. Generation D Has created a Preventative Maintenance program that is affordable and complete. This PM includes the following:
- Internal component cleaning to remove dust and dirt buildup on fans, vents, and components.
- Cleaning of all peripherals and screen surface.
- Windows Update and other software updates.
- Defragmentation, Scandisk, and Registry Analysis of the operating system.
- Virus, Spyware, and Malware Sweeps; Emptying of Cache and internet history.
Data Recovery
Hard Drives are a fragile media. Data plates spin at around 7200 RPM with magnetic driven needles constantly spinning across the surface of them. Motion, power spikes, or hardware fatigue can cause failures to the hardware or data miswrites. Generation D Technicians have several tools to recover your data from any Hard Drive. If we cannot, and the drive has need of Forensic recovery, Generation D can outsource your drive to a reputable forensic recovery lab.
